We're delighted to have Austin Benes onboard as our new Vice President of Sales. Austin has been an ag sales professional for nearly two decades. He grew up in a family farming operation in southeast Nebraska, and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he studied Ag Leadership, Education and Communications, along with Animal Science. Austin's leadership experience spans the industry and North America, focusing on delivering technology solutions for agchem, fertilizer, grain, and livestock management. He and his wife live in Lincoln.

VP of Business Development

Colt Silvers joined Kahler Automation in 2021 as a Product Manager before being promoted to Vice President of Business Development in 2024. An alumnus of Oklahoma State University, he holds a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness. Colt's career prior to Kahler was centered in precision agriculture. "I am passionate about the use of technology in agriculture," he says, "and the endless opportunities for innovation within the industry." In his spare time, Colt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and all things outdoors.
